Campaign Achievements

The Professional

Objective: Complete the campaign on Hard difficulty.

Strategy: This is a true test of your skills. Expect intense firefights and unforgiving enemy AI. Prioritize headshots to conserve ammo and take cover religiously. Utilize your squadmates for suppressing fire and revives whenever possible. Remember key choke points and enemy spawn locations from your Normal playthroughs. Patience is paramount; rushing will often lead to a quick death. Focus on clearing areas methodically before advancing. Don't be afraid to restart checkpoints if you make a critical error.

Roadkill

Objective: Kill 10 enemies with a vehicle in the campaign.

Strategy: This is most easily achieved during vehicle-heavy missions like "Operation Guillotine" or "Thunder Run." In "Operation Guillotine," when you're driving the tank, simply aim for groups of infantry. In "Thunder Run," as the gunner in the M1 Abrams, you'll have ample opportunities to run over enemies as you advance. Be mindful of your surroundings and look for clusters of enemies in the open. The M1 Abrams' sheer size makes it effective for this.

Not a Scratch

Objective: Successfully complete the tank segment in "Thunder Run" without taking any damage.

Strategy: This requires precision and awareness. As the gunner, your primary focus is on eliminating enemy RPG soldiers and other armored threats before they can fire. Communicate with your driver (if playing co-op, though this is a single-player mission) to ensure optimal positioning. Prioritize targets: Javelin teams, enemy tanks, and then infantry. Utilize the thermal optics to spot enemies from a distance. Learn the enemy spawn patterns and pre-fire their positions. The key is to be proactive, not reactive.

M.I.A.

Objective: Find all MCOM stations in the campaign.

Strategy: MCOM stations are typically well-hidden but not impossible to find. They often require a slight deviation from the main objective path. Keep an eye out for glowing red lights or distinct radio signals. Some common locations include:

  • Operation Swordbreaker: After the initial breach, check the side rooms.
  • Going Hunting: During the jet sequence, some are in buildings you fly past.
  • Comrades: Look in the various offices and storage rooms.
  • Thunder Run: Often found in destroyed buildings or on the periphery of the main route.
  • Kaffarov: Explore the mansion thoroughly, especially the upper floors and basements.

A good rule of thumb is to fully explore each area before moving on to the next objective marker. Listen for subtle audio cues that might indicate an MCOM's presence.

Co-op Achievements

Bulletpoint

Objective: Get 10 co-op headshots.

Strategy: This is straightforward. Play any co-op mission with a partner. Focus on aiming for the head with any weapon. Missions with large numbers of infantry, like "Operation Exodus" or "Drop 'Em Like Hot Potatoes," provide ample opportunities. Coordinate with your partner to suppress enemies while you line up headshots.

Double Trouble

Objective: Complete a co-op mission without either player going down.

Strategy: Choose an easier co-op mission, such as "Hit and Run" or "Operation Exodus," on Normal difficulty. Communication is key. Stick together, provide cover for each other, and prioritize eliminating threats. Use grenades and suppressive fire effectively. If one player is taking heavy fire, the other should draw aggro or provide covering fire. Avoid rushing into engagements.

Untouchable

Objective: Complete "Exodus" on Hard without taking any damage.

Strategy: This is one of the toughest co-op achievements. It requires perfect execution and coordination.

  1. Initial Push: Stay in cover and clear enemies methodically. Use the M249 SAW for suppressing fire.
  2. Building Breach: Coordinate your breach. One player throws a flashbang, the other clears.
  3. Rooftop: This is critical. Immediately take cover behind the concrete barriers. Prioritize the RPG soldiers on the opposite rooftops. Use the mounted machine gun sparingly, as it exposes you.
  4. Extraction: Clear the remaining ground forces from cover. Do not expose yourself unnecessarily.

Practice the mission on lower difficulties to learn enemy spawns and attack patterns. Patience and precise aiming are essential.

Multiplayer Achievements (Base Game)

Colonel

Objective: Reach Rank 45.

Strategy: This is a grind. Play regularly, focus on objectives, and get kills.

  • Objective Play: Capturing flags in Conquest, arming/disarming MCOMs in Rush, and delivering dog tags in Team Deathmatch (if applicable) award significant points.
  • Support Roles: Playing as a Support (resupplying teammates) or Engineer (repairing vehicles, destroying enemy vehicles) can net you many points.
  • Medals and Ribbons: Aim for these. They provide bonus XP. For example, the "Squad Wipe" ribbon for eliminating an entire enemy squad, or the "Savior" ribbon for saving a teammate.
  • Boosts: Utilize any XP boost items you may have from pre-orders or promotions.

Consistency is more important than individual high-scoring games. Keep playing, and you'll get there.

Decorated

Objective: Earn 50 unique ribbons.

Strategy: Ribbons are awarded for various in-game actions. Focus on diversifying your playstyle across different classes and game modes.

  • Assault: Get kills, heal teammates (Medic Ribbon).
  • Engineer: Destroy vehicles, repair vehicles (Engineer Ribbon).
  • Support: Resupply teammates, get suppressive kills (Resupply Ribbon, Suppression Ribbon).
  • Recon: Spot enemies, get headshots (Spotting Ribbon, Headshot Ribbon).
  • Vehicle Ribbons: Spend time in tanks, jets, and helicopters.
  • Game Mode Ribbons: Play Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch.
  • Action Ribbons: Squad Wipe, Savior, Avenger, Objective ribbons.

Many ribbons are earned naturally through regular play. Pay attention to the ribbon descriptions in the Battlelog to understand how to earn specific ones.

Multiplayer Achievements (End Game DLC)

Death from Above

Objective: Get 5 kills with the AC-130 gunship.

Strategy: The AC-130 is a powerful but vulnerable asset.

  1. Get into the AC-130: This is the first challenge. On maps like Nebandan Flats or Kiasar Railroad, the AC-130 spawns at your team's main base. Be quick to grab it.
  2. Target Selection: Focus on infantry clusters, especially those on objectives or in open areas. The 25mm cannon is excellent for infantry, while the 40mm and 105mm are better for vehicles and grouped enemies.
  3. Stay Mobile: The AC-130 pilot needs to keep moving to avoid enemy jets and anti-air. As a gunner, anticipate the pilot's movements.
  4. Counter-measures: If you're the pilot, use flares against incoming missiles. As a gunner, be aware of enemy anti-air.

This achievement often comes down to luck with getting into the AC-130 and having a competent pilot.

Eye in the Sky

Objective: Spot 10 enemies with the Recon Drone (SUAV).

Strategy: The SUAV is a new gadget for the Recon class in End Game.

  1. Equip the SUAV: Select the Recon class and equip the SUAV in your gadget slot.
  2. Deploy and Fly: Find a safe spot to deploy the SUAV. Fly it over enemy-held objectives or common enemy routes.
  3. Spotting: Aim the SUAV's camera at enemies and press the spot button (usually 'Q' on PC, RB on Xbox, R1 on PlayStation). You'll see a red triangle appear over spotted enemies.
  4. Durability: The SUAV is fragile and can be shot down by small arms fire. Keep it moving and avoid flying too low or directly into enemy lines.

This is a relatively easy achievement if you focus on using the SUAV for its intended purpose.

Multiplayer Achievements (Close Quarters DLC)

Clean Sweep

Objective: Get 10 kills with the M5K.

Strategy: The M5K is a new PDW introduced in Close Quarters.

  1. Unlock the M5K: You'll need to complete the "CQB Basic" assignment, which typically involves getting a certain number of kills with PDWs and using a specific gadget. Check your assignments in Battlelog.
  2. Play Close Quarters Maps: The M5K excels in the tight, infantry-focused maps of the Close Quarters DLC (e.g., Ziba Tower, Operation 925, Donya Fortress, Scrapmetal).
  3. Aggressive Playstyle: The M5K has a high rate of fire and is effective at close range. Push objectives and engage enemies in close quarters.
  4. Attachments: Equip a laser sight for hip-fire accuracy and an extended magazine to reduce reloads.

Once unlocked, getting 10 kills with this weapon should come naturally through playing the DLC maps.

Bullet Dodger

Objective: Survive a round of Gun Master without dying.

Strategy: Gun Master is a unique game mode in Close Quarters where players cycle through a series of weapons.

  1. Patience is Key: Don't rush into engagements. Play cautiously and use cover.
  2. Weapon Familiarity: Be prepared to use a wide variety of weapons, some of which you might not be comfortable with. Adapt your playstyle to the current weapon.
  3. Melee Kills: The final weapon in Gun Master is often a knife. Practice your melee attacks and be ready to close the distance.
  4. Map Knowledge: Learn the choke points and flanking routes on the Close Quarters maps.

This achievement requires a combination of skill, map awareness, and a bit of luck to avoid getting caught off guard.
