In 'Tirailleur', you'll frequently encounter heavily fortified machine gun nests that can halt your advance. Direct frontal assaults are often suicidal. Instead, look for flanking routes. Use smoke grenades to obscure their vision while you advance. Throw fragmentation grenades or use your rifle grenades to dislodge the gunner. If possible, use a sniper rifle to pick off the gunner from a distance. Once the gunner is down, quickly move in and clear the position. Coordinate with your AI squad to draw fire.
