The primary threat in Bendy and the Ink Machine comes from the various ink creatures that roam the studio. Understanding their behaviors and weaknesses is vital for survival.

- Searchers: The most common enemy, these are blobs of ink that rise from puddles. They are slow but can deal damage. They are easily defeated with a few hits from any melee weapon. Some Searchers drop 'Ink Hearts' which are needed for Alice Angel's quests.
- The Butcher Gang (Charley, Barley, Edgar): These are corrupted versions of Bendy's cartoon rivals. They are faster, more aggressive, and require more hits to defeat. Each has a distinct appearance and attack pattern. Charley is a brawler, Barley uses a wrench, and Edgar is a spider-like creature. They often patrol specific areas and can be a significant threat in groups.
- The Projectionist: A tall, ink-covered figure with a projector for a head. He is blind but uses light and sound to detect Henry. He is extremely dangerous and cannot be defeated by Henry's standard weapons. Stealth and evasion are key when encountering him. He is a relentless hunter.
- Alice Angel (Corrupted): A twisted, monstrous version of the cartoon character. She is a manipulative antagonist who forces Henry to do her bidding. While she doesn't directly engage in combat with Henry, she controls other ink creatures and sets traps. Her true form is revealed later.
- Sammy Lawrence: The former music director, now an ink-covered cultist obsessed with Bendy. He wields an axe and is a formidable foe. He is encountered as a mini-boss in Chapter 2.
- Ink Demon / Beast Bendy: The primary antagonist. In his initial form, he is unkillable and must be avoided at all costs. He patrols specific areas and will instantly kill Henry if caught. In his final form (Beast Bendy), he is the final boss, requiring a specific strategy to defeat.
Learning the distinct sounds and movement patterns of each enemy type will greatly improve your chances of survival. Stealth and knowing when to run are often more effective than direct confrontation.
