The Projectionist (Chapter 4)

Phases & Strategy:

  1. Initial Chase: After Alice traps you, the Projectionist will appear and immediately begin hunting you. Your primary goal is to escape the vault area.
  2. Stealth & Evasion: The Projectionist is unkillable by Henry's standard weapons. You must use 'Miracle Stations' (small hiding spots) to avoid his patrols. He emits a bright light from his projector head; if this light touches you, he will immediately charge.
  3. Sound Awareness: Listen carefully for his heavy footsteps and the whirring of his projector. This will give you an early warning of his presence.
  4. Ink Demon's Intervention: In some areas, the Ink Demon (Bendy) may also appear. If the Projectionist and the Ink Demon meet, they will fight each other. This can be used to your advantage, creating a distraction or clearing a path, but be careful not to get caught in the crossfire.

Weaknesses:

  • Blindness: He relies on light and sound. Moving quietly and staying out of his light cone is key.
  • Ink Demon: The Ink Demon is his only true 'weakness' as it can temporarily incapacitate or distract him.

Rewards:

  • Progression: Escaping the Projectionist allows you to continue to Chapter 5.
  • Lore: Reveals more about the corrupted nature of the studio's inhabitants and the hierarchy of the ink creatures.

This encounter is a pure test of your stealth and evasion skills. Do not attempt to fight him; focus solely on survival and finding the exit.
