Big Daddies are the iconic protectors of Little Sisters. There are three main types: Rosies (Rivet Gun, Proximity Mines), Bouncers (Drill, Charge attack), and Rumblers (Mini-Turrets, Grenades). Each has a glowing red eye when aggressive. Their primary weakness is their slow movement and predictable attack patterns. Use Electro Bolt to stun them, then follow up with high-damage weapons like the Shotgun or Launcher. Trap Rivets and Proximity Mines are highly effective when placed in their path. For Rumblers, destroy their deployed mini-turrets first. Always try to separate them from their Little Sister before engaging. Rewards for defeating them include ADAM (from the Little Sister) and various components. Researching them with the camera also grants bonuses.
