Returning to the Generator Room

  1. Backtrack to the Main Hall: From where you acquired the Spark, head back through the corridors until you reach the main hall of the Adonis Luxury Resort.
  2. Locate the Generator Room Entrance: The generator room is typically marked with electrical hazard signs and is usually on a lower level or in a secluded area of the main hall. Consult your map if you're having trouble finding the exact entrance.
  3. Prepare for Resistance: Expect to encounter a few Splicers on your way back. Utilize your Drill for close-quarters combat or the Rivet Gun for ranged engagements. Conserve your EVE Hypos and First Aid Kits as a more significant fight is imminent.

Activating the Generator

  1. Insert the Spark: Once inside the generator room, approach the large, inactive generator. You'll see a prompt to "Insert Spark." Interact with the generator to place the crucial component.
  2. Initiate Power-Up: After inserting the Spark, the generator will begin its power-up sequence. This process is not instantaneous and will trigger an alarm, alerting nearby Splicers to your presence.

Defending the Generator

The activation of the generator will attract a wave of Splicers, including Leadhead Splicers and possibly a Brute Splicer if you're playing on higher difficulties. This is a critical defense sequence.

  • Strategic Placement: Before initiating the power-up, take a moment to survey the generator room. Look for choke points, cover, and environmental hazards you can exploit.
  • Deploy Traps:
    • Trap Rivets: If you have the Trap Rivet ammo for your Rivet Gun, place these strategically at entry points to stun or damage incoming Splicers.
    • Mini Turrets: If you've hacked or found any Mini Turrets, deploy them to provide automated defense. Position them to cover flanks or the main entrance.
  • Plasmid Usage:
    • Electro Bolt: This Plasmid is invaluable for stunning groups of Splicers, allowing you to follow up with a powerful Drill attack or Rivet Gun shots.
    • Incinerate!: Use Incinerate! to deal damage over time and create area denial, especially against clustered enemies.
    • Telekinesis: If you have it, Telekinesis can be used to throw explosive barrels or other environmental objects at Splicers.
