As you traverse the Forest of Wolves, you'll encounter a challenging Bandit Chief guarding a bridge. This formidable foe wields a large sword and possesses surprisingly agile lunging attacks, capable of inflicting significant damage with its multi-hit swings.

The Bandit Chief's combos often culminate in a powerful downward slam. This move leaves him vulnerable for a brief period as he struggles to lift his blade from the ground. This is your prime opportunity to counterattack. Dodge his lunges and swings, then capitalize on the opening after his slam to deal damage. Due to his unique attack pattern, this enemy does not respawn once defeated, making it a worthwhile challenge to overcome.

After defeating the Bandit Chief, a chest he was guarding will become accessible. This chest typically contains useful items that can aid you in your journey, such as crafting materials or consumables. open it to claim your rewards.

Following this encounter, you'll face a Wolf Archer on the next bridge. This is an excellent opportunity to practice using the staff twirl ability. By holding the L2 button, you can spin your staff to deflect incoming arrows. The Wolf Archer's initial barrage requires sustained deflection, but be mindful of your stamina. Once the arrows cease, quickly dash across the bridge to engage and defeat him before he can prepare another volley.
