Venture into the circular grove and keep an eye out for disguised Fungilings. These plant-headed foes, buried except for their heads, wield poleblades and deal significant damage. Utilize the 'Immobilize' spell to lock them down, creating crucial openings for your attacks. gather any available Snake-Head Mushrooms, as some may be hiding these dangerous creatures.
As you navigate the bamboo grove, follow the narrow, fire-lit dirt path. This will lead you to a set of statues flanking a gap in the walls. Beyond this point, you will encounter the challenging Yaoguai Chief, Guangmou. Prepare yourself for a difficult encounter, as Guangmou employs a mix of projectile attacks and teleportation to keep you on the defensive. Stock up on Antimiasma Powder from the Shrine's shop, as poison is a significant threat during this fight.
Guangmou's primary attack involves summoning homing ghostly projectiles. These can be dodged or deflected, but be wary, as he often uses this as a distraction to teleport close to you. Once he's near, watch out for his wide-reaching poison spit attack. He also has a quicker projectile attack where he levitates briefly before unleashing a line of spells. Mastering the timing of your dodges and parries will be key to overcoming his varied assault.
