Defeating the formidable Guangmou yields valuable rewards, most notably his unique spirit. This spirit grants you a powerful new ability, allowing you to summon venomous snakes that spit poison, adding a potent ranged and status-inflicting option to your arsenal.
The Guangmou Spirit is a significant boon, especially against enemies susceptible to poison. Its ability to apply a damage-over-time effect can chip away at even the toughest foes, and its ranged nature provides a safe way to engage from a distance. Mastering the timing and placement of these summoned snakes will be key to maximizing their effectiveness.
Beyond the spirit, Guangmou's defeat may also drop other valuable crafting materials or items. Always ensure you thoroughly explore the boss arena after a victory to collect everything. Remember that Guangmou is encountered in the Bamboo Grove area. Prior to engaging him, it's highly recommended to defeat the optional Wandering Wight boss. Failing to do so before progressing past certain points in the Ancient Guanyin Temple will result in the Wandering Wight disappearing permanently, making you miss out on its unique rewards.
