Exploration & Hidden Collectibles — Black Myth: Wukong Guide
Exploration in Black Myth: Wukong is key to uncovering hidden items, power-ups, and optional boss fights. While the game is largely linear, certain sections offer opportunities to venture off the main path. For instance, in the Forest of Wolves, an open area allows for exploration. To the left, you can find a Wolf Stalwart guarding a Purple Lingzhi mushroom at the base of a large tree.
Further exploration can lead to valuable Key Items. A path descends and splits; taking the left path leads to a stream. Here, you'll encounter a Wolf Swordsworn enemy near a rock sculpture, and a Gentian plant. Downstream, a small Rat Guai will scurry away from a stone statue. Interacting with this stone head will grant you the Skandha of Form Key Item. After defeating a boss in the Ancient Guanyin Temple, interacting with a hanged body yields the Fireproof Mantle. This guide will help you find all hidden items, powerups, meditation points, and hidden bosses.
