Swords

Swords come in various forms: shortswords for quick slashes, longswords for balanced offense and defense, and greatswords for powerful, sweeping attacks. They are versatile and excellent for parrying. Experiment with one-handed and two-handed grips to find your preferred style. Edge alignment is crucial for effective cuts.

Axes

Axes deliver devastating chopping power, often capable of dismemberment. They can be one-handed or two-handed, with larger axes excelling at breaking shields and armor. Their wider blades can make parrying slightly more challenging but offer greater impact. Hatchets are great for throwing.

Blunt Weapons

Maces, warhammers, and clubs are ideal for staggering heavily armored opponents and breaking bones. They deal blunt force trauma, which is highly effective against plate armor. While they don't cut, their concussive force can be just as lethal. Two-handed blunt weapons offer immense power.

Daggers & Knives

Small, fast, and precise, daggers are perfect for quick stabs, stealth takedowns, and parrying. They can be easily concealed and are excellent for off-hand attacks or throwing. Their short reach requires you to get close to your enemy, making them ideal for agile fighters. Aim for vital organs.

Polearms & Spears

Polearms offer superior reach, allowing you to keep enemies at a distance. Spears are excellent for thrusting attacks, while halberds and glaives combine piercing with chopping power. They require good spacing and timing but can control the battlefield effectively. Be mindful of close-quarters engagements.
