Chapter 1: The Human Realm

Your journey begins in the familiar Human Realm, a land teeming with both danger and opportunity. These initial quests will introduce you to the core mechanics and challenges of Blade & Sorcery.

a. Find the Wooden Eagle

  • Objective: Locate the ancient Wooden Eagle, a relic said to hold forgotten power.
  • Location: The Wooden Eagle is hidden within the dilapidated ruins of the Old Watchtower, situated on the eastern edge of the Whispering Woods.
  • Walkthrough:
    1. From the starting village, head east along the main path until you reach the entrance to the Whispering Woods.
    2. Follow the overgrown trail, keeping an eye out for a crumbling stone archway on your right. This marks the path to the Old Watchtower.
    3. Inside the Watchtower, you'll encounter several Goblin Scouts. Dispatch them carefully.
    4. Ascend the spiral staircase to the top floor. The Wooden Eagle rests on a moss-covered pedestal in the center of the room.
    5. Strategy: Goblins are weak to fire spells. A well-placed Fireball can clear groups quickly.

b. Look for Doctor Chin

  • Objective: Seek out Doctor Chin, a renowned healer, to aid a gravely injured villager.
  • Location: Doctor Chin's Clinic is nestled in the heart of the bustling market district of Oakhaven, the capital city.
  • Walkthrough:
    1. Travel to Oakhaven. The fastest route is via the Grand Road, west of the Whispering Woods.
    2. Upon entering Oakhaven, navigate through the market stalls. Doctor Chin's Clinic is identifiable by a distinctive blue banner depicting a healing potion.
    3. Speak with Doctor Chin. He will require a specific ingredient for his remedy.
    4. Important: Doctor Chin will ask for a Glimmering Moonpetal. This item is found in the Moonpetal Glade, south of Oakhaven.

c. Rescue Graver Shen

  • Objective: Free Graver Shen, a local artisan, from his captors.
  • Location: Graver Shen is being held captive in the Bandit's Lair, a cave system located in the northern foothills of the Dragon's Tooth Mountains.
  • Walkthrough:
    1. Head north from Oakhaven towards the Dragon's Tooth Mountains.
    2. Look for a narrow canyon entrance marked by a tattered red flag. This leads to the Bandit's Lair.
    3. The lair is heavily guarded by Bandit Thugs and a few Bandit Archers. Prioritize eliminating the archers first.
    4. Graver Shen is in the deepest chamber, chained to a pillar. Defeat the Bandit Leader to obtain the Lair Key.
    5. Use the Lair Key to free Graver Shen.
    6. Strategy: Utilize stealth and ranged attacks to thin out the bandit ranks before engaging in close combat. The Gravity spell can be effective for disarming or incapacitating multiple enemies.

d. Strengthen my Weapon

  • Objective: Enhance your primary weapon's capabilities.
  • Location: This quest is initiated by speaking with the Blacksmith in Oakhaven.
  • Walkthrough:
    1. Visit the Blacksmith in Oakhaven (located near the main gate).
    2. He will require 3x Iron Ore and 1x Dragon Scale Fragment.
    3. Iron Ore: Can be mined from deposits found in the Dragon's Tooth Mountains or purchased from the Oakhaven General Store.
    4. Dragon Scale Fragment: Obtained by defeating a Young Drake, which can be found patrolling the higher peaks of the Dragon's Tooth Mountains.
    5. Return to the Blacksmith with the materials to complete the quest and receive your upgraded weapon.
    6. Reward: Your currently equipped weapon will gain a significant damage boost and a minor elemental enchantment (randomly chosen between Fire, Ice, or Lightning).

Chapter 2: The Beast Realm

Having proven your mettle in the Human Realm, your journey now takes you to the untamed Beast Realm, a land of primal magic and formidable creatures.

a. Look for Gan Jane

  • Objective: Locate the legendary Beastmaster, Gan Jane, rumored to reside deep within the Beast Realm.
  • Location: Gan Jane's secluded dwelling is found in the heart of the Whispering Fen, a treacherous swamp in the western Beast Realm.
  • Walkthrough:
    1. Enter the Beast Realm via the Ancient Portal, located at the westernmost point of the Human Realm.
    2. Navigate the Whispering Fen, being wary of Swamp Lurkers and Giant Spiders.
    3. Gan Jane's home is a large, gnarled treehouse, accessible by a rope bridge.
    4. Strategy: The swamp terrain can slow you down. Consider using the Telekinesis spell to clear obstacles or pull enemies closer.

b. Help Make a Powerful Sword

  • Objective: Assist Gan Jane in forging a legendary blade.
  • Location: This quest is given by Gan Jane in the Whispering Fen.

    1. Gan Jane requires two rare components: Heart of the Earth Elemental and Essence of the Sky Serpent.

  • Location: Mok Ye was last seen near the Crystal Caves, located in the southern region of the Beast Realm.

    1. Travel south from the Whispering Fen towards the Crystal Caves.
    2. Inside the caves, you'll encounter numerous Crystal Golems and Shimmering Bats.
    3. Mok Ye is trapped in a collapsed section of the cave, guarded by a Greater Crystal Golem.
    4. Defeat the Golem and use a powerful melee attack or the Force Push spell to clear the rubble and free her.

f. Help Mok Ye look for Chin Bin

After rescuing Mok Ye, she will immediately task you with finding her lost son, Chin Bin.

Killing the King Hawk
