Daily & Weekly Quests
Maximizing your daily and weekly quest completion in Blade & Soul is crucial for character progression, gear upgrades, and accumulating valuable resources. This guide will walk you through the most efficient strategies to tackle these essential tasks.
Understanding the Quest Interface
Before diving into specific quests, familiarize yourself with the quest interface:
- Daily Challenge (J): This tab provides a list of daily objectives that reward you with Daily Challenge Chests, Soulstone Crystals, and Experience Charms. Completing a certain number unlocks bonus rewards.
- Weekly Challenge (J): Similar to the Daily Challenge, but resets weekly. Rewards often include Weekly Challenge Chests, Sacred Orbs, and Pet Pods.
- Dungeon Quests: Many dungeons have daily quests associated with them, offering additional rewards beyond the dungeon drops. These are typically accepted from NPCs near the dungeon entrance or automatically upon entering.
Daily Quest Priorities
Focus on these daily activities for optimal gains:
1. Daily Challenge Completion
Aim to complete at least 3-5 Daily Challenge objectives. Prioritize the following:
- Dungeon Clears:
- Current Max Level Dungeons: Always prioritize the highest-level dungeons you can comfortably clear, such as Scarlet Conservatory, Thornwind Cavern, or Forest of the Departed. These offer the best gear and upgrade materials.
- Easier Dungeons for Quick Completion: If time is short, consider dungeons like Naryu Foundry or Ebony Mines for a fast clear and easy Daily Challenge credit.
- Faction Dailies (PvP): If you enjoy PvP, head to the Soulstone Plains or Whirlwind Valley to complete faction-specific quests. These reward Soulstones, Moonstones, and Zen Beans.
- Crafting/Gathering Dailies: If you have active crafting professions, check for daily quests from your respective guilds (e.g., Soul Wardens, Merry Potters). These are often quick and provide valuable crafting materials.
2. Event Dailies
Keep an eye on the in-game event calendar. Event-specific daily quests often offer unique currencies or items that are time-limited and highly beneficial. These are usually found in the Dragon Express or from specific event NPCs in Jadestone Village or Zaiwei.
3. Tower of Infinity
Completing a daily run of the Tower of Infinity (accessible from Zaiwei) provides Tower Fragments and Infinity Stones, crucial for upgrading your Soul Shield and Mystic Badge.
Weekly Quest Priorities
Weekly quests offer substantial rewards and should be a core part of your weekly routine.
1. Weekly Challenge Completion
Similar to dailies, aim to complete as many Weekly Challenge objectives as possible. These often involve:
- Raid Clears: Participating in weekly raids like Skybreak Spire, Temple of Eluvium, or Grand Harvest Square is a common weekly objective. These are essential for obtaining Legendary Soul Shields and Accessories.
- High-Tier Dungeon Clears: Often requires clearing the hardest current dungeons multiple times. Coordinate with your clan or find a party in F8 (Cross-Server Dungeon Lobby).
- PvP Arena Wins: If you're a PvP enthusiast, securing a certain number of wins in 1v1, 3v3, or 6v6 Whirlwind Valley will contribute to your weekly challenge.
2. Faction Weekly Quests
Return to the Soulstone Plains or Whirlwind Valley for weekly faction quests. These provide a larger quantity of Soulstones, Moonstones, and Zen Beans compared to their daily counterparts.
3. Merchant of Wonders (Weekly Reset)
While not a quest, remember that the Merchant of Wonders (who appears after certain dungeon clears) refreshes his stock weekly. Check his offerings for rare materials or discounted items.
General Strategies for Efficiency
- Group Up: Many daily and weekly quests are significantly faster and easier with a party. Use the F8 (Cross-Server Dungeon Lobby) or your clan to find groups.
- Teleportation: use your Dragon Pulse and Waypoints efficiently to minimize travel time between quest locations.
- Prioritize Rewards: Always check the rewards for each quest. Prioritize those that offer materials you currently need for upgrades (e.g., Sacred Orbs for accessories, Soulstone Crystals for weapon upgrades).
- Know Your Limits: Don't burn yourself out trying to complete every single quest. Focus on the most rewarding and achievable ones for your current gear and skill level.
- use Premium Benefits: If you have Premium Membership, take advantage of the increased quest rewards and additional daily/weekly quest slots.
