Gaining reputation with one primary faction often puts you at odds with the other, but neutral factions are generally accessible to all.

Earning Faction Reputation

There are several consistent methods for accumulating reputation points with various factions:

  • Daily Quests: The most reliable source. Each faction hub will have daily quests marked with a blue arrow. These typically involve defeating specific enemies, collecting items, or interacting with NPCs in the faction's controlled zones.
    • Example: For the Cerulean Order, head to the Hogshead Pastures in the Viridian Coast and speak with Officer Hong for daily tasks like "Cleansing the Pastures" (defeat 10 Blackram Marauders).
    • Example: For the Crimson Legion, visit the Bamboo Village Outpost in the Viridian Coast and talk to Commander Jin for quests such as "Marauder Menace" (eliminate 15 Blackram Marauder Scouts).
  • Faction PvP: Engaging in open-world PvP in contested zones (marked in red on your map) against members of the opposing primary faction will grant reputation. The amount earned depends on the rank of the defeated player and whether you complete specific PvP objectives.

Accessing Faction Rewards

Primary Faction Vendors (Cerulean Order & Crimson Legion)

These vendors offer exclusive costumes, weapon skins, accessories, and Soul Shields that are often best-in-slot for early to mid-game progression.
