Orbs are the premium currency and should be spent wisely. As a free-to-play player, save your Orbs for guaranteed step-up summons or banners featuring characters you desperately need or that are meta-defining. Avoid single summons unless you're very close to a guaranteed step. Always check character reviews and future banner predictions before spending. Maxing out new characters (level 200) provides a significant Orb refund, so prioritize that for new units.
