Cerberus is the third of Tchernobog's lieutenants and the boss of Episode 3. This massive, three-headed hound of hell is a relentless and powerful foe, combining brute force with devastating fire attacks.

Arena:
Cerberus's arena is typically a large, open chamber, often with lava pits or other environmental hazards. There might be some pillars or structures for cover, and limited health/ammo pickups.
Cerberus's Attacks & Phases:
- Fire Breath: Each of Cerberus's heads can breathe streams of fire, dealing continuous damage if you're caught in it. This is his most common and dangerous attack.
- Fireball Volley: Cerberus can launch multiple fireballs from his mouths, similar to Gargoyles but more numerous and powerful.
- Charge Attack: Cerberus will occasionally charge at Caleb, attempting to ram him. This deals heavy damage and can knock Caleb back.
- Ground Pound: Cerberus can perform a powerful ground pound, creating a shockwave that damages Caleb and can knock him off balance.
- Summon Fanatics/Gargoyles (Phase 2): In later phases, Cerberus might summon a few Fanatics or Gargoyles to assist him, adding to the chaos.
Recommended Weapons & Strategy:
- Tesla Cannon: Highly effective due to its continuous damage and ability to chain between Cerberus's heads (if they are close enough).
- Napalm Launcher: Excellent for dealing massive area-of-effect damage and setting Cerberus on fire, causing damage over time.
- Life Leech (Primary Fire): Deals good damage and heals Caleb, which is crucial in this fight.
- Dynamite (Secondary Fire): Direct hits with impact-detonating dynamite can deal significant burst damage.
- Sawed-Off Shotgun (Secondary Fire): If Cerberus charges close, a double-barrel blast can be very effective.
Tactics:
- Stay Mobile & Strafe: Cerberus's fire breath and charge attacks are deadly. Constantly move and strafe to avoid being caught.
- Use Cover Wisely: use any pillars or structures to break line of sight from his fire breath, but be aware that he can destroy some cover.
- Focus Fire: Concentrate all your most powerful weapons on Cerberus. Don't get distracted by summoned minions unless they pose an immediate threat.
- Exploit Openings: After a charge or a ground pound, Cerberus might be momentarily vulnerable. Unleash your most powerful attacks during these windows.
- Health Management: The Life Leech's primary fire is invaluable for healing during this intense fight. Don't hesitate to use it.
- Power-ups: Invulnerability is extremely useful for tanking his attacks and dealing uninterrupted damage. Guns Akimbo can also provide a significant damage boost. Reflective Shot can be devastating if timed correctly against his fireballs.
Cerberus is a test of endurance and dodging. Keep the pressure on, manage your health, and he will eventually fall.
