You begin your journey in a desolate graveyard, armed with only your Flare Gun and a Sawed-Off Shotgun. Your immediate goal is to find a way out of the cemetery and into the next area.
- Initial Encounter: As you spawn, you'll immediately face a few Zombies. Use your Sawed-Off Shotgun's primary fire to dispatch them quickly. Aim for the head for critical damage.
- Graveyard Exploration: Explore the graveyard thoroughly. You'll find scattered Shotgun Shells and Flares. Look for a small crypt or mausoleum; inside, you'll often find a Life Essence (health pickup) and potentially some Dynamite.
- Finding the Key: Your primary objective here is to locate the Skull Key. This key is typically found near the exit gate, often guarded by a few more Zombies or a Cultist. The Cultists are more dangerous, wielding Tommy Guns. Use cover and the Sawed-Off Shotgun's double-barrel secondary fire for a quick kill.
- Exiting the Graveyard: Once you have the Skull Key, proceed to the large, locked gate. Use the key to open it and proceed to the next area. Be wary of any last-minute ambushes from Zombies or Cultists as you approach the exit.
- Secret Area (Optional): Near the starting area, look for a cracked wall or a suspicious tombstone. Often, a secret area containing a Tommy Gun or a Voodoo Doll can be found early on, giving you a significant advantage. Use Dynamite or a well-placed shotgun blast to open cracked walls.
This level is a good introduction to basic combat and exploration. Don't rush, check every corner, and get used to the feel of your weapons. Conserve your shotgun ammo for the Cultists.
