There are no traditional 'side quests' in the modern RPG sense, but the hunt for secrets serves a similar purpose, rewarding exploration and keen observation.

Every level in Blood contains multiple secrets, ranging from hidden rooms with health and ammo to entirely concealed passages leading to powerful weapons like the Tesla Cannon or Life Leech. Mastering the art of secret hunting is key to surviving on higher difficulties.
