Covenant Allegiances & Rewards

In the grim world of Bloodborne, aling yourself with certain factions, or Covenants, can offer unique benefits and alter your interactions with the world and its inhabitants. These allegiances are not always straightforward and often require specific actions or quest completions to join and progress within.

Understanding the Covenants is key to unlocking hidden lore, obtaining powerful items, and even influencing the game's endings. Each Covenant has its own set of rules, objectives, and rewards, making them a sificant aspect of a Hunter's journey.

Notable Covenants and Their Allegiances:

The Vilebloods	Join the Cainhurst Vilebloods by obtaining the Cainhurst Summons and defeating Martyr Logarius.	Bloodletter weapon, Chikage weapon, Cainhurst Set, Queenly Flesh Wardrobe.	Requires defeating Logarius and finding the Summons in the Forsaken Castle Cainhurst.
The Executioners	Progress Alfred's questline. He is found in the Forbidden Woods and later in the Royal Castle.	Dagger of the Vileblood Hunter, Executioner's Set.	Completing Alfred's questline fully is essential.
The Hunter's Dream	This is the starting and central hub. All Hunters are inherently part of this.	Access to the Doll, Workshop, and the ability to level up and upgrade weapons.	No specific joining process, it's your safe haven.
The School of Mensis	This Covenant is more lore-based and tied to the Nightmare areas. There isn't a formal 'joining' process, but engaging with their rituals and lore is key.	Access to Nightmare areas, lore insights, and specific items related to their experiments.	Defeating Micolash is a key event related to this group.

Each Covenant offers a distinct path and set of rewards. The Vilebloods, for instance, are tied to blood-based weaponry and a more sinister aesthetic, while the Executioners represent a more righteous, albeit brutal, path. Engaging with these factions adds depth to the gameplay and provides valuable tools for survival in Yharnam.
