Castle Cainhurst

Castle Cainhurst is an optional, yet highly atmospheric and challenging area in Bloodborne, accessible only after obtaining the Cainhurst Summons. This grand, yet decaying, gothic castle is home to the remnants of a once-proud noble lineage, now twisted by their pursuit of forbidden knowledge and dark pacts. Navigating its treacherous halls requires courage, as it is populated by formidable enemies and guarded by a particularly difficult boss.

To reach Castle Cainhurst, players must first acquire the Cainhurst Summons. This item is found in Iosefka's Clinic after a certain point in the game. Once obtained, travel to the graveyard near the Witch's Abode. Approach the large obelisk in the graveyard, and a spectral carriage will arrive, transporting you to the castle. Be warned, the journey to the castle itself is fraught with peril, and the castle's interior is no less dangerous.

Within Castle Cainhurst, you'll encounter swift and deadly Cainhurst knights, spectral figures, and other horrors. The architecture is stunning, evoking a sense of tragic grandeur. The castle is also a key location for completing Alfred's questline and potentially joining the Cainhurst Vilebloods covenant. The ultimate challenge within the castle lies in defeating Martyr Logarius, a boss renowned for his speed and devastating magical attacks.
