Blood Echoes Farming Spots — Bloodborne Guide

Blood Echoes are crucial for leveling up and purchasing items in Bloodborne. Efficient farming spots can significantly aid your progression. One early method involves navigating to Old Yharnam or purchasing the Hunter Chief Emblem to access areas leading to Vicar Amelia, where enemies can yield a good amount of echoes.

To farm Blood Echoes effectively:

  1. Progress to Old Yharnam: This area contains enemies that drop a decent amount of Blood Echoes.
  2. Purchase the Hunter Chief Emblem: Acquire this item from the Lower Bath Messengers for 10,000 Blood Echoes. This emblem unlocks the cathedral ward gate to a circular area, allowing you to proceed towards Vicar Amelia.

Note: If you choose to go to Old Yharnam directly, you do not need to purchase the Hunter Chief Emblem. However, not purchasing the emblem and not unlocking the cathedral ward gate will prevent you from summoning help for the Vicar Amelia fight.

Be cautious when farming. Losing a large amount of Blood Echoes to unexpected deaths, such as being killed by a Snatcher near Vicar Amelia's entrance, can be frustrating.
