Understanding Our Tiering Philosophy

Our tier list is dynamic and subject to change with new student releases, balance adjustments, and evolving meta strategies. We evaluate students based on several key factors:

  • Versatility: How well a student performs across different content types (e.g., Raids, PvP, Story Stages).
  • Niche Dominance: How exceptionally a student performs in their specialized role (e.g., single-target damage, crowd control, healing).
  • Team Synergy: The ability of a student to enhance the performance of their teammates or enable powerful compositions.
  • Ease of Use/Investment: How accessible a student is to acquire and how much investment (Skill Materials, Eligma, Equipment) is required for them to shine.

We've omitted certain students who are integral to the main story and cannot be removed from your party for general tiering, as their presence is often mandatory. This list focuses on students you can actively choose to deploy.

Tier Definitions

  • SS Tier: Meta-defining students who excel in almost all content. High priority for investment.
  • S Tier: Extremely powerful students with broad utility or exceptional performance in specific roles. Highly recommended.
  • A Tier: Strong and reliable students who perform well in their intended roles. Good additions to most teams.
  • B Tier: Situational students who can be effective in specific compositions or against certain enemies. May require higher investment to shine.
  • C Tier: Niche students with limited utility or outclassed by higher-tier options. Generally not recommended for primary investment unless you have a specific strategy in mind.

SS Tier: Unrivaled Powerhouses

These students are the backbone of many top-tier teams. Prioritize acquiring and investing in them.

  • Iori (Casual):
    • Role: Explosive Single-Target DPS
