Student Skill Trees & Progression Paths

As a Sensei in Blue Archive, understanding how to effectively develop your students is paramount to overcoming the challenges of Kivotos. Each student possesses a unique set of skills that can be enhanced through a structured progression path. This involves leveling up their base stats, unlocking and upgrading their skills, and equipping them with suitable equipment.

Skill Upgrades: Each student has three active skills and one EX skill. These skills can be upgraded using various materials such as Tactical Reports, Pyroxenes, and specific skill books (e.g., Ninjutsu, Engineering, etc.). The effectiveness of a student's skills directly impacts their performance in combat, from dealing damage to providing crucial support. Prioritize upgrading the skills that al with a student's role. For offensive units, focus on damage-dealing skills, while for support units, prioritize buffs and debuffs.

Equipment: Students can equip up to three types of equipment: Headwear, Accessory, and Badge. Each equipment slot provides stat bonuses and can be enhanced using Enhancement Modules and other materials. The rarity and type of equipment can sificantly boost a student's combat effectiveness. Certain equipment pieces are also tied to specific student archetypes or roles, so choosing the right gear is crucial.

Skill Books: Skill books are essential for advancing skill levels beyond certain thresholds. These are categorized by subject (e.g., Ninjutsu, Engineering, Social Studies) and difficulty (e.g., Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). The "An Unconcealed Heart" event, for instance, heavily features students from the Ninjutsu Research Club, making Ninjutsu skill books particularly valuable for their progression. You can farm these skill books from specific "Cafe" missions within the event or from the regular "Cafe" missions in the main game.

Talent Tree (Potential System): Once a student reaches a certain level and bond, you can unlock their Talent Tree. This system allows for further stat enhancements and can unlock unique passive abilities or further boost existing skills. Investing in the Talent Tree provides a sificant power spike and is a key part of late-game progression.

Progression Strategy: When building a team, consider the combat environment. Different stages may require specific elemental advantages (Explosive, Piercing, Mystical) and armor types (Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Unarmored). A well-rounded team will have a mix of offensive and defensive capabilities, with students who can exploit enemy weaknesses. Always check the enemy types and their elemental affinities before deploying your students.
