Heads Up
Welcome, Sensei! Before you dive deep into the world of Blue Archive, there are a few crucial pointers that can significantly smooth out your early game experience and set you up for long-term success. This section outlines actionable steps, key items to prioritize, and strategies to maximize your resources.
Early Game Resource Management
Your first few days in Kivotos are critical for establishing a strong foundation. Focus on efficient resource allocation to avoid common pitfalls.
- AP (Action Points) Prioritization: AP is your most valuable resource.
- Main Story Quests: Always prioritize clearing Main Story stages. These unlock new features, provide a steady stream of Pyroxene, and progress your Sensei Level, which is vital for increasing your Students' maximum level.
- Hard Stages: Once unlocked, immediately start farming Hard stages for Student Elephs. These are essential for promoting your Students to higher star ranks, significantly boosting their stats. Focus on Students you plan to use long-term.
- Bounty Missions: These are your primary source of Skill Materials (BDs, Technical Notes, etc.). Run these daily to ensure your Students' skills are leveled up. Different Bounties drop different types of materials, so target what your current main team needs.
- Commissions: Crucial for acquiring Credit Points and Activity Reports. Credit Points are used for almost everything, from leveling Students to upgrading equipment. Activity Reports are the primary experience items for Students.
- Pyroxene Usage: Resist the urge to pull on every banner.
- Sparking: Save your Pyroxene for banners where you can reach the "Spark" (200 pulls/24,000 Pyroxene) to guarantee a specific Student. This is especially important for limited or meta-defining Students.
- Refresh AP: Limited daily AP refreshes (up to 3-5 times) can be a good investment, especially during double drop campaigns, to accelerate progress.
Student Development Strategies
Building a strong team requires more than just acquiring powerful Students. Proper development is key.
- Focus on a Core Team: Initially, concentrate your resources on 6-8 Students (a main team and a few versatile substitutes). Spreading resources too thin will leave you with many underpowered Students.
- Equipment Upgrades: Equipment provides significant stat boosts.
- Tier Upgrades: Prioritize upgrading equipment to the highest available Tier.
- Enhancement: Enhance equipment using Enhancement Stones from various sources like Raids, Total Assault, and the Shop. Focus on enhancing equipment for your main damage dealers and tanks first.
- Skill Leveling: Skills are often more impactful than raw stats.
- EX Skills: Always prioritize leveling the EX Skill of your main damage dealers and key support Students. These often have the most significant impact on combat.
- Sub/Basic/Passive Skills: Level these as resources allow, focusing on Students whose skills provide crucial buffs, debuffs, or healing.
- Relationship Levels: Increase Student Relationship Levels by giving gifts in the Cafe or interacting in the Schedule. Higher Relationship Levels unlock powerful stat bonuses and unique stories.
Shop and Item Acquisition
The various shops offer essential items that can accelerate your progress.
- Eligma Shop: This shop uses Eligma, obtained from duplicate Student pulls.
- Student Elephs: Prioritize buying Elephs for Students you are actively trying to promote, especially those from limited banners or hard-to-farm sources.
- Arcana: If you have an abundance of Eligma, Arcana can be purchased to unlock Unique Weapons, but this is a late-game priority.
- Tactical Challenge Shop: Use Tactical Challenge Coins to purchase Skill Materials and sometimes Student Elephs. Always clear your daily Tactical Challenge attempts.
- Raid Shop/Total Assault Shop: These shops offer unique rewards, including high-tier Skill Materials and sometimes even Student Elephs or equipment. Participate in Raids and Total Assault regularly to earn their respective currencies.
- General Shop: Keep an eye out for discounted Activity Reports, Credit Points, and Skill Materials. Sometimes, equipment pieces are also available.
By following these guidelines, you'll be well-equipped to tackle the challenges of Blue Archive and lead your Students to victory!
