Equipment comes in different tiers (T1, T2, T3, etc.) and rarity (Normal, Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare). Higher tiers and rarity provide significantly better stats. You can acquire higher tier equipment from later Main Story stages, Hard Mode stages, and various events. Always prioritize equipping the highest tier equipment you have, even if it's a lower rarity, as tier often provides a larger stat boost.
