Initial Preparations & Objectives

Before diving into the culinary chaos, ensure your students are adequately equipped. Chapter 2 introduces various enemy types, including light armored foes and some with higher DEF. A balanced team with good damage output, healing, and utility is crucial for smooth progression.

Walkthrough: Shopping District & Back Alleys

Phase 1: Navigating the Bustling Market

Upon entering the Shopping District, you'll encounter various light armored enemies, primarily Street Thugs and Vandal Students. Focus on efficient clearing to conserve EX Skill cost.

1. Clear the Entrance: Engage the initial group of Street Thugs. Utilize AoE skills from students like Akari or Iori (if available) to quickly dispatch them. Focus fire on one at a time if using single-target damage to minimize incoming damage.
2. Locate the Rare Spice Vendor: Head towards the central market square, marked on your map. You'll find a small stall with a distinctive red awning. Interacting with the Rare Spice Vendor will trigger a short cutscene and provide you with the Aromatic Cinnamon Sticks (x5).
3. Deal with the Pickpockets: As you leave the vendor, a group of Nimble Pickpockets will attempt to steal your newly acquired spices. These enemies are fast but have low HP. Prioritize them with rapid attacks to prevent them from escaping with your items.

Phase 2: The Back Alley Brawl

After securing the spices, you'll need to venture into the Back Alleys to find a specific ingredient. This area features more resilient enemies, including Roughneck Gangsters and ranged Sniper Students.

1. Engage Roughneck Gangsters: These enemies have moderate HP and DEF. Prioritize using single-target damage dealers or DEF-piercing skills if available. Tsubaki's taunt can be invaluable here to keep damage off your squishier students.
2. Neutralize Sniper Students: The Sniper Students will attempt to deal high damage from a distance. Focus them down quickly with single-target damage before they can severely wound your Strikers. Positioning your Tank to absorb their shots is also a viable strategy.
3. Find the Golden Sugar Beet: To access the hidden ingredient, you'll need to navigate a small maze of crates. The Golden Sugar Beet is hidden within a stack of overturned barrels near the eastern wall of the alley, specifically behind a graffiti-covered dumpster. A small "Investigate" prompt will appear when you're close.
4. Open the Shortcut: After acquiring the Sugar Beet, a blocked path to the north will become accessible. Clear the debris by interacting with the "Clear Obstruction" prompt. This will lead you towards the final destination.

Phase 3: The Sweets Club Hideout & Final Challenge

The Sweets Club Hideout is the final stretch for this chapter. Expect a concentrated force of enemies guarding the entrance, including a mini-boss encounter.

1. Defeat the Gatekeepers: You'll face a wave of Elite Roughneck Gangsters and a Biker Boss. The Biker Boss has a powerful charge attack that can damage multiple students, so be prepared to heal or use a Tank's EX Skill to mitigate damage. Focus on eliminating the Elite Gangsters first to reduce overall incoming damage, then concentrate on the Biker Boss.
2. Enter the Hideout: Once the enemies are defeated, the path to the hideout will be clear. Proceed inside to trigger a cutscene with the After-School Sweets Club.
3. The Culinary Showdown (Boss Battle): Inside, the club will face a rival culinary group, leading to a unique boss battle against the Gourmet Guild Leader.
   • Boss Weakness: The Gourmet Guild Leader is a Heavy Armored enemy, making Explosive damage types highly effective.
   • Recommended Students: Bring students like Hoshino, Aru, or Shiroko for their strong Explosive damage. Serina or Fuuka (New Year) are essential for healing and support.
   • Strategy: The Gourmet Guild Leader has an AoE attack that can stun your students. Time your healing and defensive skills carefully. Focus all your Explosive damage EX Skills on the boss to quickly deplete their HP. Utilize your Tank to draw aggro and protect your damage dealers.
4. Chapter Completion: After defeating the Gourmet Guild Leader, a final cutscene will play, concluding Chapter 2. You will receive your rewards.
