This level introduces a new element: a gate that opens when a switch is pressed. The switch is on a high platform, and the gate is below. To get the puzzle piece, you need to press the switch, then quickly rewind time while holding the switch down. This will allow you to pass through the gate before it closes. The trick is to press the switch, then immediately start rewinding while moving towards the gate. The gate will remain open for a short duration after the switch is released, but rewinding while holding the switch effectively extends that duration. This puzzle teaches you to manipulate the state of objects relative to your own time stream.
