Combat & Reputation — Bully: Scholarship Edition Guide

Learn the combat system and how your reputation with different cliques impacts your gameplay experience in Bully.

·Multi-source verified (48/48)

Combat in Bully is a mix of melee attacks, ranged weapons, and environmental interactions. Jimmy can punch, kick, grab, and throw opponents. Mastering combos and dodges is essential for tougher fights. You can also use various items like slingshots, firecrackers, and stink bombs. Environmental objects such as trash cans, lockers, and even other students can be used to your advantage. Your reputation with different cliques (Nerds, Jocks, Greasers, Preppies, Bullies) will constantly shift based on your actions. Helping a clique will improve your standing with them, while attacking them will decrease it. A good reputation can unlock new missions and make certain areas safer, while a bad reputation can lead to more frequent attacks. Keep an eye on the reputation meter in the pause menu to understand your current standing with each group. Remember, fighting adults or police will quickly lead to a 'Busted' screen.
