Select from Recruit, Regular, or Hardened difficulty settings in Call of Duty 2. Adjust enemy accuracy and damage to match your skill level.

Call of Duty 2 offers several difficulty settings to cater to all players:

  • Recruit: For new players or those who want to experience the story without much challenge. Enemies are less accurate and take more damage.
  • Regular: The standard experience, offering a balanced challenge.
  • Hardened: For experienced players seeking a tougher fight. Enemies are more accurate, deal more damage, and are more aggressive.
  • Veteran: The ultimate challenge. Enemies are highly accurate, deal significant damage, and health regeneration is slower. Friendly AI is also less effective.

We recommend starting on 'Regular' for your first playthrough to get a feel for the game. If you find it too easy or too difficult, you can adjust the difficulty at any time from the pause menu. Veteran difficulty requires precise aim, tactical movement, and excellent cover utilization.
