Objective: Escape the Prison

This objective marks the thrilling climax of your infiltration, transitioning from stealth to an all-out firefight. Your primary goal is to escort the high-value asset (HVA) through the prison grounds to a waiting extraction vehicle. Expect fierce resistance and utilize the environment to your advantage. A crucial piece of intel, a hidden manifest, can also be acquired during this sequence.

Objective: Escape the Prison

Phase 1: Prison Yard Breakout

Upon initiating the escape, you'll find yourself in the main prison yard. Your team will create a diversion at the main gate, drawing a significant portion of the prison's security forces. However, you'll still face immediate threats.

  • Initial Engagement: As you exit the cell block, expect 6-8 standard Prison Guards armed with SMGs and pistols. They will be positioned near the central watchtower and patrolling the immediate yard area. Prioritize headshots to conserve ammunition.
  • Environmental Hazards (Yard):
    • Explosive Barrels: There are three red explosive barrels strategically placed in the yard.
      • One is located near the forklift on the left side of the yard.
      • Another is beside the maintenance shed to the right.
      • The third is positioned near the entrance to the administration building (your next destination).
Use these to clear clusters of enemies. A single well-placed shot can eliminate 3-4 guards instantly.
    • Floodlights: Shooting out the large floodlights mounted on the prison walls can temporarily disorient enemies in their immediate vicinity, allowing for quick takedowns or repositioning.
  • Enemy Reinforcements: After clearing the initial wave, 4-5 additional Prison Guards will emerge from the guard towers and the main administrative building entrance. Be prepared for a flanking maneuver from the left side of the yard.
  • Tactical Advice: Stick to cover provided by the parked vehicles and concrete barriers. Keep the HVA behind you or in a safe, covered position. Use your tactical equipment (flashbangs, smoke grenades) to push through choke points.

Phase 2: Warden's Office Detour (Optional Intel Acquisition)

Before proceeding directly to the main gate, you have the opportunity to acquire critical intel from the Warden's Office. This is a highly recommended detour for lore enthusiasts and those seeking 100% completion.

  1. Locate the Administration Building: From the prison yard, the large, two-story building directly opposite your initial exit point is the Administration Building.
  2. Breach the Entrance: Expect 3-4 Prison Guards patrolling the lobby. One will be a Heavily Armored Guard (identifiable by their full body armor and shotgun). Aim for exposed areas or use explosives to quickly neutralize the armored threat.
  3. Ascend to the Second Floor: Take the stairs on the right side of the lobby. You'll encounter 2 standard Prison Guards on the landing.
  4. Warden's Office Entry: The Warden's Office is the large, ornate door at the end of the hallway on the second floor. It is unlocked.
  5. Acquire the Hidden Manifest:
    • Inside the Warden's Office, clear the 2 Prison Guards present.
    • The Hidden Manifest is located on the large mahogany desk, specifically within the open drawer on the right-hand side. It appears as a glowing interactable document.
    • Interact (Square/X/F) to collect the "Prisoner Transfer Manifest (CONFIDENTIAL)." This grants a significant XP bonus and unlocks a new lore entry in your codex.
  6. Exit Strategy: After acquiring the manifest, you can either retrace your steps or utilize the fire escape on the left side of the Warden's Office, which leads directly back into the prison yard, bypassing some of the lower-level guards.

Phase 3: Main Gate Push

With or without the manifest, your next objective is to reach the main gate, where your team's diversion is underway.

  • Heavy Resistance: This area is heavily fortified. Expect 8-10 Prison Guards, including 2-3 Riot Police. Riot Police are equipped with ballistic shields and SMGs, making direct frontal assaults difficult.
  • Dealing with Riot Police:
    • Flanking: The most effective method is to flank them. Use the numerous crates and barricades for cover.
    • Explosives: Grenades, particularly frag grenades, are excellent for forcing them out of cover or damaging them from behind their shields.
    • Environmental Hazards (Main Gate):
      • Forklift with Fuel Tank: Near the main gate, there's a forklift with a visible fuel tank. Shooting this will cause a large explosion, capable of destroying shields and eliminating multiple enemies.
      • Stacked Barrels: Several stacks of barrels (some explosive, some not) can be found near the guard posts. Use the explosive ones to create openings or clear groups.
      • Overhead Walkway: If you can reach the elevated walkway to the left of the main gate, it offers a superior vantage point to shoot over shields and target enemies below.
  • Sniper Threat: Be aware of a single Sniper positioned in the watchtower overlooking the main gate. Prioritize eliminating this threat as soon as possible to prevent damage to yourself and the HVA.
  • Tactical Advice: Use suppressive fire to keep enemies pinned while your team member (or you, if playing solo) moves the HVA forward. Smoke grenades can be invaluable for breaking line of sight and allowing safe passage through heavily contested areas.

Phase 4: Extraction

Once the main gate area is sufficiently clear, the extraction vehicle will pull up.

  • Final Sprint: You will need to make a final dash to the vehicle. Expect 3-4 straggler Prison Guards to attempt to cut off your escape.
  • Secure the HVA: Ensure the HVA enters the vehicle first. Once they are safely inside, you can enter to complete the objective.
  • Mission Complete: The objective concludes as you drive away from the prison.

Recommended Loadout & Strategy

  • Primary Weapon: An Assault Rifle (e.g., AK-47, M4A1) for its versatility in medium-to-long range engagements and decent magazine capacity.
  • Secondary Weapon: A high-capacity SMG (e.g., MP5, PPSh-41) for close-quarters combat, especially useful against Riot Police if you manage to flank them.
  • Lethal Equipment: Frag Grenades for clearing clusters and dealing with armored enemies.
  • Tactical Equipment: Flashbangs or Smoke Grenades for crowd control and repositioning.
  • Perks:
    • Scavenger: To ensure you don't run out of ammo during the prolonged firefight.
    • Quick Fix: For immediate health regeneration after kills, crucial for maintaining momentum.
    • Battle Hardened: To reduce the effect of enemy tactical equipment.

Common Pitfalls & Missables

  • HVA Down: Allowing the HVA to take too much damage will result in a mission failure. Always prioritize their safety and keep them in cover.
  • Missing the Manifest: The Warden's Office detour is optional and can be easily missed if you rush directly to the main gate. There is no opportunity to return once you've left the prison grounds.
  • Underestimating Riot Police: Direct engagements with Riot Police without proper tactics will quickly deplete your health and ammo. Use flanking maneuvers or explosives.
  • Running out of Ammo: This is a long, intense firefight. Utilize Scavenger and be mindful of your ammunition count, especially for your primary weapon.
