Welcome, operatives, to the comprehensive campaign walkthrough for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. This guide will navigate you through every mission, detailing objectives, enemy encounters, collectible locations, and optimal strategies to ensure your success on any difficulty. Prepare for intense action and critical decisions as we delve into the heart of the Black Ops narrative.

Difficulty Settings Note: This walkthrough is primarily designed for 'Regular' difficulty. On 'Veteran' or 'Realism', enemy damage and awareness are significantly increased, and health regeneration is slower or non-existent. Stealth approaches become more critical, and headshots are paramount. Conversely, on 'Recruit', enemies are less aggressive and accurate, allowing for more direct engagements. Adjust your tactics accordingly, prioritizing cover and tactical retreats on higher difficulties.

Mission 1: Operation Chimera

Objective: Infiltrate the Siberian Research Facility

Your mission begins deep within a snow-laden forest, tasked with infiltrating a clandestine Siberian research facility. Stealth and precision are key to a successful insertion.

• Initial Deployment & Loadout: You'll start with a standard issue M4A1 Assault Rifle (suppressed) and a P92 Pistol (suppressed). Immediately move forward, utilizing the dense tree cover and snowdrifts for concealment. Stay low to avoid detection.
• First Encounter - Forest Patrol: Approximately 50 meters into the forest path, you'll encounter a patrol of three Spetsnaz soldiers.
  • Strategy: Engage them silently. Use your combat knife for melee takedowns (approach from behind, press F/R3) or a suppressed P92 shot to the head. Prioritize the soldier at the rear of the patrol to prevent them from alerting the others.
  • Loot: One of the fallen soldiers carries an AK-12 Assault Rifle. While not suppressed, it offers higher damage than the M4A1 and can be useful later. Consider swapping your P92 for it if you're confident in your stealth.
• Perimeter Breach - Chain-Link Fence: Continue towards the facility's outer perimeter. You'll reach a chain-link fence.
  • Location: Look for a section near a large fallen pine tree on the left side of the fence. This section is damaged and can be vaulted over (press Space/A).
  • Missable: Attempting to cut or climb other sections of the fence will trigger an alarm.
• Guard Post - Outer Compound: Inside the perimeter, a small, illuminated guard post stands ahead, overseeing the facility entrance. Two guards are present.
  • Strategy: A well-placed Frag Grenade (press G/L1) can clear them out quickly, but risks alerting nearby patrols. For a stealthier approach, flank wide to the right through the dense bushes, circle behind the post, and perform silent takedowns.
  • Loot: One guard drops a Medkit (press 5/D-Pad Up to use). Always keep at least one on hand.

Objective: Locate Dr. Anya Petrova & Download Data

With the outer perimeter secured, your next task is to penetrate the main facility, locate Dr. Petrova, and extract critical intelligence.

• Main Facility Entrance: Proceed to the main entrance doors. This area is heavily guarded by five soldiers, including one formidable operator wielding an RPK-16 LMG.
  • Strategy: Prioritize the LMG operator immediately; their sustained fire can quickly suppress and eliminate you. Use the numerous crates, abandoned vehicles, and snow barriers for cover. Utilize your M4A1's accuracy for headshots. Consider using a flashbang (press Q/R1) to disorient the group before engaging.
  • Weapon Swap: The RPK-16 offers high capacity and stopping power, but its slow reload and mobility can be a hindrance in tight spaces.
• Collectible - Data Pad (1/3): Before entering the facility, locate the small security booth to the right of the main entrance doors.
  • Location: Inside, on the desk next to a flickering monitor, you'll find the first Data Pad collectible. These provide lore and intel.
• Interior Navigation - Main Lobby & Corridors: Once inside, navigate through the main lobby and connecting corridors.
  • Resistance: Expect sporadic resistance from patrol units. Stick to cover, pie-slice corners, and use your tactical sprint to quickly move between safe positions during engagements.
  • Tip: Listen for enemy chatter and footsteps to anticipate their positions.
• Server Room - Second Floor: Your objective marker will lead you to the server room, located on the second floor.
  • Hazard: Be wary of a tripwire mine placed just before the server room door. It's subtly camouflaged.
  • Disarm: Approach cautiously and disarm it by interacting with it (hold X/Square). Failing to do so will trigger an explosion, alerting all nearby enemies and causing significant damage.
• Data Download & Objective Update: Dr. Petrova is not present in the server room. Instead, interact with the main console inside to initiate a critical data download.
  • Action: Hold F/Square to begin the download. This process takes approximately 15 seconds.
  • Intel: The terminal reveals Dr. Petrova's last known location and the true nature of the facility's research.

Objective: Escape the Facility & Exfil

The data download has triggered a full-scale alert. The facility is now on lockdown, and you must fight your way out to the extraction point.

• Alarm Trigger & Reinforcements: As soon as the data download completes, a blaring alarm will sound, and the facility will go into full lockdown.
  • Enemy Breach: As you exit the server room, three armored soldiers will breach through the far wall directly opposite the server room entrance.
  • Strategy: These enemies wear heavy body armor. Aim for headshots to bypass their protection, or use a well-placed Semtex Grenade (press Q/R1) to strip their armor quickly. They carry PKM LMGs, which can be picked up for heavy suppression.
• Escape Route - Service Tunnels: Follow the new objective marker, which now points towards a service tunnel in the basement levels.
  • Combat: This route will be swarming with enemies. The tight, claustrophobic corridors favor close-quarters combat.
  • Weapon Recommendation: Consider picking up a KSP 45 SMG from fallen enemies. Its high fire rate and mobility are excellent for clearing tight spaces.
  • Common Pitfall: Don't rush blindly. Enemies will often ambush from side passages. Use tactical grenades (flashbangs/smoke) to gain an advantage.
• Extraction Point - Exterior Loading Dock: The service tunnel will eventually lead you to an exterior loading dock.
  • Final Stand: You'll need to clear out a final, concentrated wave of enemies before extraction. This includes several standard infantry and a dangerous sniper positioned on the rooftop of an adjacent building overlooking the dock.
  • Strategy: Immediately seek cover behind the large shipping containers and crates. Prioritize the sniper first; their accurate long-range fire can quickly down you. Use your M4A1's scope for precision shots. Once the sniper is down, systematically clear the remaining ground forces.
• Exfil & Mission Complete: Once the area is completely clear of hostile forces, approach the waiting extraction helicopter. Interact with the ramp (hold X/Square) to board and complete Mission 1: Operation Chimera.
