This Easter Egg requires teamwork and precise execution. We recommend a full squad, each with a designated role (e.g., zombie clear, objective interaction). Pack a powerful wonder weapon like the RAI K-84 and ensure you have the Aether Shroud field upgrade for quick escapes.

Step 1: Powering Up the Facility

  • Activate the Aether Generators: Your first task is to restore power to the Firebase. There are three generators located across the map:
    • Generator 1 (Main Base): Found directly to the left after exiting the starting area, near the barracks.
    • Generator 2 (Jungle Defense): Located in the jungle path leading towards the Data Center.
    • Generator 3 (Rocky Outcrop): Situated on a raised platform overlooking the Research Lab.
  • Defend Each Generator: Activating a generator will initiate a defense sequence. Zombies will swarm the area. Stay within the marked defense zone until the generator is fully charged.

Step 2: The Mimic's Memory

  • Collect the Memory Jars: After power is restored, Mimics will begin to spawn more frequently. You need to kill specific Mimics that drop Memory Jars. These Mimics are distinguished by their glowing red aura.

Step 1: Restoring the Power Grid

  • Activate the Main Power: Head to the Power Room in the Metro station. Activate the main power switch.
  • Repair the Fuse Boxes: Three fuse boxes will now be sparking across the map. You need to repair them:
    • Fuse Box 1 (Apartment Rooftop): On the rooftop of the apartment building, accessible via a zipline.
    • Fuse Box 2 (Destroyed Penthouse): Inside the Destroyed Penthouse, near the workbench.
    • Fuse Box 3 (Ghost Station): In the Ghost Station, on the platform near the train tracks.
  • Collect the Circuit Boards: Each repaired fuse box will drop a Circuit Board. Collect all three.
  • Install Circuit Boards: Return to the Power Room and install the Circuit Boards into the main power console.

  • Find Klaus's Head: Locate Klaus's Head in the Hotel Lounge, on a display stand.
  • Retrieve Klaus's Body: Klaus's body is in the Maintenance Tunnel, near a broken wall.
  • Assemble Klaus: Bring both parts to the Robot Assembly Station in the Safe House. Interact to assemble Klaus.
  • Charge Klaus: Klaus requires power. Lead him to the Charging Station in the Switch Control Room. Defend him while he charges.

  • Locate the Aetherium Canister: The canister is hidden in the Bar area, behind the counter.
  • Charge the Canister: Take the Aetherium Canister to the Refinement Chamber in the Underground. Place it on the designated stand. You will need to defend it from a surge of zombies and Disciples.
