You’ll be working closely with Park to identify a Soviet informant and extract a high-value target.
Stealth and Infiltration
The mission begins at a rain-slicked train station. Follow Park's lead closely; she will guide you through the initial guard patrols. Once you reach the rooftops, use your camera to identify Anton Volkov. Avoid drawing attention by keeping your suppressed weapon drawn and only eliminating guards who directly obstruct your path. When moving through the apartments, stay crouched and mind the floorboards to maintain your stealth bonus.
Combat Encounters
Inevitably, the situation will go loud. During the apartment ambush and the subsequent street skirmishes, utilize the narrow corridors to your advantage. Shotguns and submachine guns are highly effective here. When Park provides overwatch, wait for her cues; she can thin out enemies on balconies while you push forward. Remember to check side rooms for evidence related to Operation Chaos before proceeding to the basement holding area.
The Escape Sequence
After finding the informant, the mission shifts into a high-stakes escape. You will be pinned down by heavy resistance in a courtyard. Use smoke grenades to obscure the vision of enemy snipers perched in the surrounding buildings. Transition between cover quickly and lean on Park to handle targets on the left flank while you clear the path to the extraction vehicle. Accuracy is more important than speed here, as getting caught in the open will result in a rapid death on higher difficulties.
Working with Park
Park is your most valuable asset in this mission. Unlike other NPCs, her AI is specifically tuned to prioritize stealth takedowns. If you are aiming at a guard, wait a moment—Park will often position herself to take out a second guard simultaneously, preventing alarms. During the final extraction, stay near her to trigger scripted defensive prompts that provide much-needed breathing room against the encroaching Volksturm forces.
