Mission 01: Pyrrhic Victory - Jungle Infiltration

Upon reaching the riverbank, stick close to Woods as you navigate the dense foliage of the Angolan jungle. This section requires high situational awareness; the MPLA soldiers utilize the brush for camouflage and will frequently attempt to flank your position from the tall grass on your right. Use the large Baobab trees as hard cover when engaging the initial wave of infantry. Monitor your HUD for red markers indicating enemy mortar teams positioned across the river—engage them first with your primary rifle to prevent AOE damage. Your initial weapon loadout, including the FAL, is effective for medium-range precision, but you may want to swap a sidearm for an AK-47 dropped by fallen enemies to better handle close-quarters ambushes. Conserve your grenades for the technical vehicles that arrive near the clearing at the end of this path.
