Mission 1: Pyrrhic Victory
Primary Objectives:
- Secure the Beachhead: As Woods, your initial task is to push through the Vietnamese defenses. use the M60 LMG for suppressing fire and the M1911 pistol for close-quarters engagements. Look for cover behind fallen trees and rock formations.
- Destroy the AA Guns: There are two anti-aircraft emplacements. The first is located on a ridge overlooking the beach. Flank right through the jungle path to get a better angle. The second is further inland, guarded by multiple enemy soldiers. Consider using a well-placed grenade (M67 Frag) to clear the area before moving in to plant the C4.
- Rendezvous with Mason: After destroying the AA guns, navigate through the village. Be wary of tripwires and booby traps. Mason will be waiting at the extraction point near the river.
Secondary Objectives (Challenges):
- Kill 10 Enemies with the M60: Focus on sustained fire during the initial beach assault.
