Campaign Trophies & Achievements
“Disavowed” (Bronze/10G)
Objective: Complete “A New World” on any difficulty.
Walkthrough: This is your introductory mission. Simply play through the level, following the objectives. Focus on familiarizing yourself with the game's controls and basic combat mechanics. There are no hidden requirements; completion is key.
“A World at War” (Silver/20G)
Objective: Complete all campaign missions on Veteran difficulty.
Walkthrough: Veteran difficulty demands patience and tactical awareness. Utilize cover extensively and prioritize enemies. For missions like “Provocation” or “Demon Within,” consider using the Tactical Rig “Overclock” to quickly recharge your abilities, or “Kinetic Armor” for increased survivability. Always aim for headshots to conserve ammo and take down enemies faster. Don't be afraid to retreat and regroup if overwhelmed. Learn enemy spawn patterns and exploit them. The DNI abilities, especially “Remote Hijack” for robots and “Tactical Mask” for flashbangs, are invaluable.
“Curator” (Bronze/10G)
Objective: Discover all of the collectibles in any campaign mission.
Walkthrough: Each campaign mission contains several hidden collectibles, often in the form of data logs or historical artifacts. For example, in the mission “Black Ops,” look for a data log near the crashed plane at the start, and another inside the safe house after the first major firefight. In “Rise and Fall,” a collectible can be found in the collapsed subway tunnel section, often tucked away in a side alcove. These are usually off the main path, so explore thoroughly. Using the “Tactical Rig” ability “Sensor Array” can sometimes highlight nearby interactable objects, including collectibles.
“Decrypted” (Gold/50G)
Objective: Decrypt all of the Data Vaults.
Walkthrough: Data Vaults are unlocked by finding all collectibles within specific missions. Once you've collected all items in a mission, return to your Safe House and interact with the Data Vault terminal. The decryption process is automatic once the prerequisites are met. This trophy requires you to be a diligent explorer throughout the entire campaign.
Zombies Trophies & Achievements (Shadows of Evil)
“Apocalypse Averted” (Silver/30G)
Objective: In Shadows of Evil, complete the “Ritual of the Damned” Easter Egg.
Walkthrough: This is the main Easter Egg for the “Shadows of Evil” map and requires significant coordination, especially in co-op. Here’s a condensed overview of the key steps:
- Activate Beast Mode: Throughout the map, locate the purple altars to transform into Beast Mode. Use this to power generators, open doors, and grapple to new areas.
- Collect the Ritual Items: There are four main ritual items, each associated with a character:
- Detective Nero: The “Fountain Pen” is found in the Waterfront District, often near the Ruby Rabbit.
- Magician Jessica Rose: The “Hair Spray” is in the Footlight District, usually in the Black Lace Burlesque.
- Boxer Floyd Campbell: The “Championship Belt” is in the Canal District, often found in the Boxing Gym.
- Con Man Jack Vincent: The “Badge” is in the Canal District, typically near the Easy Street bridge.
- Perform the Rituals: Take each item to its corresponding ritual table. There are four tables: one in the Waterfront, one in the Footlight, and two in the Canal District. Each ritual will summon a wave of zombies and a special enemy (e.g., Margwa). Protect the item until the ritual is complete.
- Summon the Keeper: After all four rituals are done, a fifth ritual site will open in the “Pack-a-Punch” area (the rift). Perform this final ritual to summon the Keeper.
- Defeat the Shadow Man: Follow the Keeper's instructions to progress. This involves collecting “Gateworms” and eventually confronting the Shadow Man in a boss battle. Utilize upgraded weapons (Pack-a-Punch) and Gobblegums like “Perkaholic” or “Alchemical Antithesis” for ammo.
This is a highly complex Easter Egg; detailed video guides are recommended for precise item locations and boss fight strategies.
“From the Shadows” (Bronze/10G)
Objective: In Shadows of Evil, acquire the “Wonder Weapon.”
Walkthrough: The Wonder Weapon in Shadows of Evil is the “Apothicon Servant.” It can be obtained through the Mystery Box, but a more reliable method is to build it. You need three parts:
- Margwa Tentacle: Kill a Margwa (the three-headed monster) and it will drop a tentacle. Margwas appear after certain rounds or during rituals.
- Xenomatter: This is dropped by Parasites (flying insects) or Insanity Elementals (glowing zombies) in the Cthulhu-esque areas.
- Archov’s Servant: This part is found in the “Rift” area. You need to open the rift by performing the first four rituals. Once inside, look for a glowing purple egg-like object.
Once all three parts are collected, take them to a crafting table (e.g., in the Canal District or Waterfront) to assemble the Apothicon Servant.
Miscellaneous Trophies & Achievements
“Personal Decorator” (Silver/20G)
Objective: Earn all Decorations in the Safe House.
Walkthrough: Decorations are unlocked by completing various challenges across the campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies modes. These range from simple tasks like completing a mission on a certain difficulty to more complex ones like achieving a specific number of headshots with a weapon class, or reaching a high round in Zombies.
To track your progress, access the “Decorations” menu in your Safe House. Some examples include:
- Campaign: Complete all missions on Realistic difficulty, find all collectibles, complete all challenges in a mission.
- Multiplayer: Reach Prestige 1, earn 100 wins, get 500 kills with an SMG.
- Zombies: Reach Round 20 in Shadows of Evil, kill 1000 zombies with a specific Wonder Weapon.
“No One Will Believe You” (Gold/50G)
Objective: Complete the campaign on Realistic difficulty.
Walkthrough: Realistic difficulty is the ultimate challenge. One hit from almost any enemy will kill you. This requires extreme caution, perfect aim, and strategic use of your DNI abilities.
- Co-op is Highly Recommended: Playing with teammates significantly increases your chances of survival, as downed You can be revived.
- DNI Abilities: “Tactical Mask” is crucial for negating flashbangs and concussions. “Remote Hijack” can turn enemy robots into allies. “Active Camo” provides brief invulnerability and stealth.
- Weapons: Prioritize high-damage, accurate weapons. The “Drakon” sniper rifle and “Gorgon” LMG are excellent for long-range engagements. Always aim for headshots.
- Cover is Life: Never expose yourself unnecessarily. Peek, shoot, and retreat.
- Grenades: Use “Concussion Grenades” to stun enemies before pushing, or “Frag Grenades” to clear entrenched positions.
- Checkpoints: Realistic difficulty has fewer checkpoints. Be prepared to replay sections if you die.
Patience is paramount. Do not rush. Learn enemy patrol routes and spawn points. This will be a grueling but rewarding experience.
