Mission 11: Lotus Towers

Welcome to the penultimate mission, soldier. Lotus Towers is a multi-layered assault that demands tactical precision and efficient resource management. Expect heavy resistance from both 61I and CDP forces. Your primary objective is to reach the server farm at the top of the central tower and upload the data package.

Initial Infiltration & Plaza Combat

You'll begin in the exterior plaza, immediately under fire. Prioritize taking cover behind the concrete barriers. Several 61I Riflemen and Heavy Gunners will be positioned on elevated platforms. Use your Drakon Sniper Rifle for quick headshots on the Riflemen. The Heavy Gunners are best dealt with using a well-placed Concussion Grenade followed by sustained fire from your Kuda SMG or a Dingo LMG if you've picked one up.

  • Item Location: To the left of your starting position, behind a damaged fountain, you'll find an Ammo Cache (SMG/AR) and a Frag Grenade.
  • Strategy: Advance slowly, clearing each section of the plaza. Watch for flanking enemies from the side alleys. Utilize your Cyber Core ability: Remote Hijack on any automated turrets you encounter to turn them against their allies.

Tower Ascent: Lower Floors

After securing the plaza, proceed into the main lobby of the Lotus Towers. This area is heavily guarded by CDP Enforcers and Combat Robots. The lobby features multiple levels and cover points.

  • Item Location: On the reception desk to your right upon entering, you can pick up a Medkit and a Thermal Scope attachment for your primary weapon.
  • Strategy: The Combat Robots are highly resistant to conventional fire. Aim for their weak points (glowing red joints) or use your Overload Cyber Core to temporarily disable them, allowing for easier takedowns. CDP Enforcers often carry Argus Shotguns, making close quarters dangerous. Maintain distance and use your Tactical Rig: Active Camo to reposition and gain an advantage.
  • Optional Objective: On the second floor of the lobby, behind a collapsed support pillar, you can find a hidden Data Log (Lotus Towers Security Protocols). Collecting this will grant bonus XP.

Mid-Tower Engagement: Office Levels

As you ascend through the office levels, the environment becomes more claustrophobic. Expect ambushes from 61I Specialists and CDP Snipers positioned in cubicles and behind office furniture. The narrow corridors are ideal for your War Machine Grenade Launcher if you have it equipped.

  • Item Location: In the executive suite on the 15th floor, accessible via a broken window ledge, you'll find a rare "Black Cell" Rocket Launcher, invaluable for later encounters.
  • Strategy: Use your Tactical Rig: Vision Pulse frequently to highlight enemy positions, especially the snipers. Be mindful of tripmines and laser grids, which can be disarmed with a quick melee attack or by shooting their power source.
  • Mini-Boss Encounter: On the 20th floor, you'll face a CDP Heavy Exo-Suit. This enemy is heavily armored. Target its exposed power core on its back after it performs a charge attack. Use your Black Cell if you picked it up, or focus fire with your most powerful weapon.

Server Farm & Data Upload

The server farm is located on the top floor. This area is a high-intensity combat zone with multiple waves of enemies attempting to prevent your data upload. You'll need to defend the upload terminal for a set duration.

  • Item Location: Before initiating the upload, check the maintenance room to the left of the main server rack for an Advanced UAV Scorestreak and a Self-Revive Kit.
  • Strategy: Set up defensive positions around the upload terminal. Deploy Sentry Guns or Guardians if you have them as Scorestreaks. Utilize chokepoints effectively. Expect 61I Prowlers to attempt to flank you from ventilation shafts. Your Kinetic Armor Cyber Core can be a lifesaver during intense waves.
  • Final Push: The last wave will include two CDP Goliath Mechs. Focus all fire on one at a time. Their weak points are their glowing red eyes. Use any remaining Black Cell rockets or concentrated fire from your primary weapon. Once the upload is complete, a brief cutscene will trigger, concluding the mission.
