Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) is an open-world, extraction-based PvE experience filled with various contracts that serve as its 'side quests'. Completing these contracts earns you Essence (in-game currency), loot, and XP.
Common Contract Types:
- Eliminate the Bounty: Track down and defeat a powerful special zombie.
- Defend the Stronghold: Clear a fortified building of zombies and then defend it from waves of attackers.
- Raid Weapon Stash: Locate a weapon stash, clear the area, and extract the contents.
- Escort: Protect a friendly vehicle or NPC as it moves across the map.
- Outlast: Activate a Pylon and survive against waves of zombies within a designated area.
- Spore Control: Destroy several glowing spores within a time limit.
Strategy: Contracts are color-coded by difficulty (green for low, blue for medium, orange for high). Start with green contracts to build up Essence and gear. Always have a Pack-a-Punched weapon and some Perk-a-Colas before attempting high-threat contracts. Coordinate with your squad for efficiency.
