A climactic mission where you must prevent a catastrophic event. This is a linear, high-stakes mission with intense combat and a clear objective.
Objectives:
- Infiltrate the launch facility.
- Disable the launch sequence.
- Neutralize the primary threat.
- Exfiltrate the facility.
Strategy:
This mission is a direct assault. Push forward with your squad, using cover and coordinating fire. Expect heavy resistance, including armored enemies and potentially turrets. Use your lethal equipment to clear rooms and suppress enemy positions. When you reach the control room, you'll need to interact with a console to disable the launch sequence, often under fire. The primary threat (often a mini-boss or a heavily armored enemy) will appear during or after this sequence. Focus all fire on them, aiming for weak points. Use your Field Upgrade and any available power weapons. After the threat is neutralized, make your way to the exfil point, fighting through any remaining enemies. This mission is a test of your combat skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
