Throughout the single-player campaign, you can find two types of collectibles: Mementos and Insights. Mementos are historical artifacts or personal items that offer a glimpse into the lives of the characters or the historical context of the war. They are often hidden off the main path or in less obvious locations. Insights are documents, letters, or recordings that provide deeper narrative context, revealing more about Project Phoenix, the antagonists, or the motivations of your squadmates. Collecting all Mementos and Insights not only grants you achievements but also enriches your understanding of the story and the world of Vanguard. We recommend replaying missions on a lower difficulty after your initial playthrough to focus solely on hunting down these hidden items. Each mission typically has a set number of each collectible, so keep an eye on your in-game progress tracker.
