Field Upgrades are tactical abilities that charge over time and can provide significant advantages in combat. You can only carry one at a time.
Common Field Upgrades:
- Armor Box: Deploys a box that provides armor plates for you and your teammates. Incredibly useful for re-plating mid-fight or before pushing.
- Munitions Box: Deploys a box that provides ammo and lethal/tactical equipment for you and your teammates. Essential for sustained engagements.
- Dead Silence: Temporarily makes your footsteps silent and increases your movement speed. Excellent for flanking or pushing enemies without being heard.
- Trophy System: Deploys a device that destroys incoming enemy projectiles (grenades, rockets, stun/flash). Great for defending positions or vehicles.
- Stopping Power Rounds: Temporarily increases the damage of your current weapon. Can turn the tide of a gunfight.
- Recon Drone: A deployable drone that can be piloted to scout enemy positions and ping them for your team.
- Loadout Drop Marker: Calls in a personal Loadout Drop. Very rare ground loot, but invaluable.
Strategy:
- Armor Box/Munitions Box: Prioritize these for team utility.
- Dead Silence: Use aggressively for pushes or defensively for escapes.
- Trophy System: Place strategically in high-traffic areas or on vehicles.
- Stopping Power Rounds: Activate just before engaging a strong enemy or multiple enemies.
Note: Field Upgrades have a cooldown. Use them wisely and communicate their deployment to your team.
