Ground loot weapons are the firearms you find scattered across the map in loot boxes or on the ground. They come in different rarities, which dictate the number and quality of attachments they have.
Rarity Tiers:
- Common (Grey): No attachments. Basic weapon.
- Uncommon (Green): 1-2 basic attachments.
- Rare (Blue): 2-3 decent attachments.
- Epic (Purple): 3-4 good attachments, often with a suppressor.
- Legendary (Orange): 4-5 high-tier attachments, usually suppressed and with a good optic.
Strategy for Ground Loot:
- Early Game Priority: Grab any weapon immediately upon landing. Even a common pistol is better than nothing.
- Upgrade as You Go: Continuously look for higher rarity weapons, especially those with suppressors, extended magazines, or optics you prefer.
- Familiarity: Learn which ground loot weapons are strong. Some common weapons can still be effective in a pinch.
- Temporary Use: Ground loot is primarily for the early game until you can acquire your custom loadout. Don't get too attached to a ground loot weapon if you have cash for a loadout.
Pro Tip: Always check the weapon's attachments. A common weapon with a good optic might be more useful to you than a rare weapon with attachments you dislike.
