Warzone is a team game. Superior communication can often overcome a skill deficit. Use both voice chat and the ping system effectively.
- Clear & Concise Callouts: Avoid shouting or rambling. Give precise information: 'Enemy on the roof, red building, 200 meters, pinged!'
- Location, Direction, Distance: Always include these three pieces of information for enemy callouts. Use compass directions (N, SE, W) and ping markers.
- Ping Everything: Ping enemy locations, valuable loot, contracts, Buy Stations, and where you intend to go. The ping system is incredibly robust.
- Contextual Pings: Double-tapping the ping button (Alt on PC, Up D-Pad on console) creates a red 'enemy' ping. Single-tapping creates a yellow 'location' ping.
- Loot Callouts: 'I need armor plates,' 'Anyone need an AR ammo?'
- Gas Movement: Constantly remind your team about the gas timer and plan rotations together.
- Revive/Buy Back Status: 'I'm self-reviving,' 'I have enough for a buy back.'
- Listen Actively: Pay attention to your teammates' callouts and pings. Don't just talk.
Pro Tip: If you don't have a mic, rely heavily on the ping system. It's surprisingly effective for conveying information.
