Loadout Drops are game-changers, providing your custom weapons and perks. How and when you secure them can dictate the flow of your match.
- First Free Loadout: After the first gas circle closes, a free Loadout Drop will fall. This is often a highly contested area. Approach with caution and be prepared for a fight.
- Purchased Loadouts: If you have $10,000, you can buy a Loadout Drop from a Buy Station. This is often safer than contesting the free one.
- Overkill First, Ghost Second: A common strategy is to get an Overkill loadout first (for two primary weapons), then later in the game, buy or find a second Loadout Drop to switch to a Ghost perk loadout to stay off enemy radars.
- Loadout Drop Placement: When calling in a Loadout Drop, try to place it in a safe, defensible location, preferably behind cover or on high ground. Avoid open fields.
- Looting Speed: Grab your loadout quickly. Don't linger, as Loadout Drops are beacons for enemy players.
- Team Coordination: Ensure your entire team gets their desired loadouts. Share cash if needed.
Warning: Loadout Drops are visible on the map to all players. Always be aware of potential ambushes when approaching one.
