Basic Combat & Engagement Tips
  • Aim Down Sights (ADS): Always ADS for increased accuracy, especially at range. Hip-firing is only effective in extreme close quarters.
  • Headshots: Aim for the head! Headshots deal significantly more damage and reduce time-to-kill (TTK).
  • Cover Usage: Always fight from cover. Use walls, crates, and environmental objects to break line of sight and protect yourself from incoming fire.
  • Pre-aiming: Anticipate enemy positions and pre-aim your weapon at common angles before peeking. This reduces reaction time.
  • Recoil Control: Learn the recoil pattern of your primary weapon. Most weapons have a predictable vertical recoil that can be compensated for by pulling down slightly on your mouse/stick.
  • Movement During Engagements: Don't stand still! Strafe, crouch, and jump during gunfights to make yourself a harder target.
  • Minimap Awareness: Constantly check your minimap for enemy pings and teammate positions to anticipate threats.

Practice these techniques in custom games or the firing range to build confidence and consistency.
