The user interface in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is clean and intuitive, providing all the necessary information without cluttering the screen. In the top left corner, you'll see your current number of lives. Losing all your lives will result in a Game Over, though you can continue from the beginning of the current episode. The top right displays the number of Super Gems you've collected in the current level out of three. Below that, you'll see the bonus objective for the level, which often involves collecting a certain number of coins, defeating all enemies, or finding a hidden item. At the bottom of the screen, any items you are holding (like a Super Pickaxe or a Cherry) will be displayed. Pay close attention to the bonus objective, as completing it unlocks additional content and challenges.
