Location: Study
The Manticore is a winged beast with a scorpion tail, attacking with fire and physical strikes.
- Attacks:
- Fire Breath: Breathes a stream of fire horizontally.
- Tail Stab: Stabs with its scorpion tail, has decent range.
- Swoop: Flies across the screen, damaging anything in its path.
- Weakness: Its head is its weak point.
- Recommended Souls:
- Bullet: Minotaur Soul (axe throw is effective), Witch Soul (if acquired).
- Guardian: Giant Bat Soul (for evasion and reaching its head).
- Enchant: Axe Armor Soul for STR boost.
- Strategy: The Manticore's head takes more damage. Use your Double Jump (Giant Bat Soul) to get above it and attack its head. Be mindful of its tail stab, which can hit you even when you're above it. When it swoops, either jump over it or slide under it. If you have the Minotaur Soul, its axe throw can hit the Manticore's head even from the ground.
