Enemy List & Soul Drops
Welcome, fellow soul collector! This comprehensive guide details every enemy in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, their locations, and, most importantly, the coveted souls they can drop. Mastering the soul system is key to Soma Cruz's journey, offering powerful new abilities and stat boosts. Remember, luck plays a significant role in soul drops, so be prepared for some grinding!
To maximize your chances of obtaining rare souls, equip items that boost your LCK (Luck) stat. The Soul Eater Ring (found in the Underground Cemetery, behind a breakable wall near the save point, or purchased from Hammer after obtaining 100% map completion) is invaluable, significantly increasing soul drop rates. Other LCK-boosting gear includes the Rare Ring (dropped by the Fleaman) and the Misericorde weapon (found in the Clock Tower).
This list is organized by the general order in which you'll encounter enemies throughout the castle, making it easy to reference as you progress.
