The boss of Stage 2 is a massive Golem, a towering creature of stone. The Golem has several attacks: a ground pound that creates shockwaves, a rock throw, and a charge attack. His weak point is his head, but it's often out of reach. The strategy involves attacking his legs to make him kneel, exposing his head. When he pounds the ground, jump over the shockwave. When he throws rocks, either dodge or destroy them. When he charges, jump over him or slide under if playing as John. John can use his whip to hit the legs and then jump to hit the head when it's lowered. Eric's spear vault is excellent for hitting the head directly, and his double jump helps him avoid the charge. The Axe and Boomerang sub-weapons are highly effective, especially when he's kneeling. Be patient, learn his patterns, and focus your attacks on his weak points. Defeat him to proceed to the next stage.
