Attacks:

  • Phase 1 (Head): Fires projectiles, summons tentacles, slams head.
  • Phase 2 (Body): Reveals multiple weak points, fires lasers, summons enemies.

Weakness:

  • Holy (especially in Phase 2).

Recommended Setup:

  • Weapon: Claimh Solais (Holy element) or Balmung.
  • Bullet Soul: Gergoth Soul (laser), Great Armor Soul (axe), or Final Guard Soul (for defense).
  • Guardian Soul: Gorgon Soul (petrify), Buer Soul (extra damage), or Bat Soul (for mobility).
  • Enchant Soul: Warg Soul (+STR), Minotaur Soul (+STR), or Chaos Ring (infinite MP if you have it).

Strategy:

Menace is the final boss and a multi-phase encounter. In Phase 1, focus on attacking its head. Dodge its projectiles, jump over tentacle sweeps, and move away from its head slams. Use your strongest Bullet Souls for consistent damage. Once the head is defeated, Phase 2 begins.

In Phase 2, Menace reveals its true form: a massive, grotesque body with multiple weak points (eyes, mouths). These weak points are vulnerable to Holy damage, making the Claimh Solais incredibly effective. Prioritize destroying the weak points. Menace will fire lasers, summon enemies, and try to crush you. Stay mobile, use your most powerful attacks, and heal when necessary. This is a long and challenging fight, so conserve MP and use your strongest abilities strategically. A Magic Seal is required to finish the boss after its HP is depleted.
